USA Today’s George Artsitas reports that comedian Daniel Tosh’s “Tosh.0” is soaring up the ratings at Comedy Central. Now in its second season, “Tosh.0” averages more than 2.6 million views. And, it’s popularity continues to grow.
Comedy Central’s “Tosh.0” gives Tosh the venue to shred, pulverize and mock the vulgar, perplexing and idiotic stuff online, fighting fire with fire. He has a staff of researchers who comb the Web all day in search of the most unsuitable Internet videos for Tosh to rip apart.
The show invites and relies on viewer interaction. Ripping the videos in front of a green screen, “Tosh.0” maximizes the use of social media — Facebook, Twitter and blogging — with its Facebook page nearing 1,700,000 “Likes” and Tosh’s Twitter feed drawing more than 500,000 followers.

Tosh hits the road for the 51-city “Tosh Tour Twenty Ten,” starting Sept. 24 in Tucson and ending Nov. 22 in Santa Rosa, Calif. More than 100,000 tickets have been sold in advance.
